From its humble beginning, Swee Hin Chan Company Sdn. Berhad (SHC) was established in 1914 in Penang, Malaysia, selling wheat flour imported from Australia. Moving from strength to strength, SHC was registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia by Mr. Chew Choo Han in 1956. This was the beginning of the successful journey of SHC to its status now as one of the key players in the flour and starch industry in Malaysia.
SHC is a subsidiary company of Khong Guan Limited (KGL), a Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) Listed Company.
